If you thought we maxed out our collective hate-meter on the Infiniti FX50, check out the latest new car review.
Acura ZDX- It's angle-ey, but bad.
Anybody else out there had the opportunity to try one? Observations? Comments?

And the rear passenger doors? The current Chilean mine disaster offers better ingress / egress.
That made lol

That's because it's all about style...wait a minute...
Well, I posted my comments at the review. But this entire "market segment" blows big juicy chunks, no matter whose badge is on the hood.

this. I said this the day they introduced it to us last fall. I said the very same thing. Even though I work for them, I cannot say I want their product right now.
Yeah, this is too easy. I hate these kinds of cars. But people seem to buy them. I don't get it. Why would anybody want the awkwardness and lousy gas mileage of an SUV combined with the interior of a cramped car? I suspect it is old suburbanites who think this is what hipsters drive. And no, they don't get the irony of wanting to be a hipster. I know this. I live among these people and their crappy X6s.

Bob! I want to see you in my office stat!

I'm not going to negatively comment on Acura's offerings....providing that they produce another NSX that is as good as, if not better than, the original.
Tick-tock....
I hate all these "fat wagons" they're coming out with. The FX50, ZDX, 550 GT, and even the Outback. At least the Outback has cargo space. They are really the most useless vehicle you can buy. Acura's, in one generation, went from some of the best looking cars on the road to the worst.

Actually, the handling on this was a high point for me. It would be a hoot to rallycross a ZDX...in 30 years when they're practically free.

Never going to happen. They're moving away from that and towards hybrids and smaller offerings in the luxury segment. If you want an NSX, go find a used one.... sadly.

Hmmm, a cramped, overpriced Acura Aztek....you really think its gonna take that long to be free? You couldn't pay me to take one now!
Maybe you could mate the ZDX with the Nissan Juke and get the lamest, ugliest, most non-functional vehicle ever.....
Thank God that Acura is somewhat redeeming itself with the TSX sportwagon.....which is the best-looking wagon out there that isn't from Germany.
and one more thought....comparisons to the Aztek meh..
Aztek was terribly ugly, but also terribly utilitaritarian. ZDX is just ugly without the redeeming usefulness.

Eh, I'm going to hold out for a while....see if a street version of the HSV-010 GT will happen.

I beg to differ. The TSX wagon still has that ugly beak like the rest of the Acura range (though it looks good from other angles) and will be available only with a slushbox and FWD. Acura has no plans for SH-AWD or a manual/manumatic box for the TSX range. FAIL.

I'll agree with you on the slushbox...that is indeed fail. Wonder if the MT from the sedan will work
As to the beak....meh. Yeah, it's ugly. And can be replaced with aftermarket for little cost probably.
I like it as FWD. Because it doesn't need AWD. All that would do is add cost, add weight, reduce fuel economy, and put it in competition with crossover SUVs.
I love my AWD in the WRX, but most of the country really doesn't need AWD. The TSX is really just an Accord, and the Accord has done pretty well with FWD.
If they got the MT, I'd rock one. FWD or not....
