We've been working to make our site more modern and easier to use. Tomorrow morning we'll be rolling out an all-new homepage layout. It'll be a lot easier on the eyes and will hopefully get more readers interested in the things we post.
Just thought we'd give everyone a heads-up. Hope you enjoy!
As somebody who's seen the new homepage, let me just say:
WOW!

Yep, that's why it's rolling out in the morning vs. at 5 p.m.
I don't see anything different?
Neither do I- not on my phone anyway

It is different. Not sure if I could say it's better or worse, but different for sure.
Now I see it. Looks great! keep up the good work guys!
What, did it change? I don't see anything different.
I am the guy that will select the "remind me later" button on iOS upgrades until the thing stops working. "Upgrade" is equivalent to "Berkeleyed up" IMO.
Glad y'all didn't actually change anything!
Wow! I opened the homepage clicked the forum button. Then read this thread describing a change. Completely missed it.
Just don't move my 'forum' button.

That happens next week.
I AM KIDDING!!!!
The updated home page looks good on mobile, too. According to the Googles, more than half our web traffic is now on a phone or tablet.

Also, if you're using Safari, the subscribe button might be stacked with your avatar. That bug has been fixed, but you might need to clear your cache before everything lines up properly.
It looks very clean. I like it. But, in all honesty it's been so long since I've been to the home page that I have no idea what it used to look like.
Change just for the sake of change? Not a fan. It's like when someone new to an organization immediately comes in and starts to say things like, "hey, you know what we need, we really need to rebrand this place."

Not change for the sake of change. We saw how people were using our homepage and made changes to better suit their viewing habits.

Looks good on my phone, being my main internet browser. But then I usually just stay on the forum pages.
There's the problem. I go straight to the forum page. Don't know what the home page used to look like. New page looks good though.
