Just thought I'd post up some pics of the new ride. I picked this up a week or two ago. Drove down to Oregon to get it. 1990 Audi Coupe Quattro. It's lowered on Bilsteins with a coilover kit, big rear sway bar, intake, Cabriolet wheels, blah blah. Car has like 220k on it, but the motor's supposedly only got 70k on it, as it was replaced by one of the previous owners. Two little dents on it, and it's been resprayed at some point, atleast on one side.

I've spent some money on it so far replacing little switches and stuff on the inside. Everything was working, but not everything was lighting up. By tomorrow I should have everything working and lighting up. Eventually plans are different wheels, sweet exhaust, and a chip for it. Now somebody just needs to buy the other 3 cars I've got for sale so I can buy stuff for it.

And before you ask, yes, I realize there's a Miata in the background.

Needs more turbo!

My old boss had one of these cars, and he loved it. Does it have the memory seat? That's such an awesome feature.

Haha yes, cause it's mine. It's for sale though because I bought this car. I have too many, even though I want to keep them all....

It basically looks like a bigger, fatter version of my old Scirocco. Same color (tornado red) and same interior (black leather). Funny how that works, eh? Back to square one, just with more cylinders, more options, more drive wheels, and more HP. Oh and less body damage.

It's the 5-cylinder, but no turbo.

Damn right it needs more turbo. I'd love to turbo it when I get the funds, but I think that's going to be a long ways off right now. It sounds cool with the intake though. Yep, it's got the memory feature on it, plus the heated seats. Although I'm not so sure the drivers side heater works.

I have the original window sticker for it from 1990. $31k when it was new. Yikes. Oh and it also has the original hands-free cell phone kit or w/e, so it has the extra antenna on the passenger quarter window. The original microphone is still in the car, right next to the drivers head. I even have the original NEC cellphone owners manual from '89. Cool stuff for the nostalgia factor.

Yeah it was. There was 4 of them for sale at the same time in Portland, and one up here in Washington. I decided to take a look at this one cause it was already lowered and what not. There was that really cherry white one, but it was all stock and the same price. Supposedly that guy had $25k in service records though.

I got a package of more switches today. Almost have everything lit up and working now, only have a few more to replace. Also got another wood shift knob in really good shape. Looks great now.
