Your going to fix a 25 yr old 220+k  dodge??

I don't think I've seen 1998 Ram on the road up here since the mid 2000's :)

It's this truck: Florida truck

While it's lived a hard life since moving north, I had it treated with NHOU products and it's in good shape underneath. It's definitely cheaper to fix it than to find a replacement.

If I find a good deal on something smaller and more fuel efficient for my son then I may take it back to use for truck stuff and as a spare vehicle.

It's alive and moves under its own power.

The used trans is in, along with new cooler, lines, filter, tail shaft seal, and A/C condenser.

I paid a bit more for the trans I bought ($800 no tax, thank you NH), but it supposedly has 110k miles on it, and not >160k that the cheaper ones had.

I only had time for a 10-15 mile test drive, but all gears were present, torque converter locks and unlocks, and so far no leaks.
