Sorry if I missed this posted elsewhere but sounds exciting! What's next, NT01 updating their compound perhaps??

We hinted at this one in our recent R888R vs NT01 vs RR test, but had no time line at that point. Thanks for the link.
After so many years of no change, this makes two new r-comps, plus an update on another.
Two of those are in my shop right now. ;)
So this is replacing the RR?
Looking forward to trying it... and I should be due for a set about when these become available. Glad they didn't name it the 'RRR'... LOL

Yes replace, and agreed on the name...especially given the R888R naming.
That said, where do they go from here? RR->R->???
Another R comp that doesn't come in the sizes I need. Geez and it's the front tire size too, which is usually the easier one to get.

Do the radiator bracket mod and run 255/35/18. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turbo-forum/923738-diy-modding-front-radiator-brackets-for-big-tires.html

"RRR"...the Pirate Tire
That's what we always called the R888R. Toyo definitely has a favorite letter, though.

I hear that antiquing is all the rage...
In reply to Andy Hollis :
So YOU send me free tires :) They're quick enough, friendly and have decent life for their grip. I've always been happy with them.
And, well, we have an understanding with Toyo :)
