Came across this today in the back doors of a 2008 Kia Amanti. Got me thinking, how many other modern cars come with an ashtray? Excluding the Maybach type cars, I could see those having an ashtray available.

Nothing comes wih a cigarette lighter anymore either. I can't recall any cars off-hand newer than the '90s that have an ash tray.
My 2005 Sequoia (and presumably the identical 06-07 models) have an ashtray up front and one in each rear door. They also have an actual cig lighter (as well as two additional power ports). I think there might be another cig lighter for backseat passengers on the backside of the center console, but can't say I've looked there much).
My 2005 Buick Rainier had an ash tray insert for the cup holder. I once asked a friend if he minded if I smoked. He replied he didn't care if I burst into flames.
I'm pretty sure my mom's 13 Elantra has one. They might be calling it a change holder though, but it sure looks like an ash tray.
My 05 Vic has one under the center dash.
The 02 ranger has a lighter, but no ash tray that I've found. I suspect they're calling the lone plastic cup holder insert and ash tray, but none that I've found in traditional locations.
The Amanti's is a legitimate ashtray, see the little metal thing? Also, the service manual calls it an ashtray, so it's not a random cubby or change holder. It's even iluminated! Wikipedia says this generation Amanti was sold until 2010.
My 91 Jag had about 5 of them...but ZERO cupholders. Had to repurpose the car phone mounting stalk to mount one. (times have changed)
2004 GMC Sierra has one.
Some of it depends on whether or not you could order a smokers package. I'm 99% certain that you could order my 2007 Silverado with the smokers package and you'd get a lighter instead of one of the "charging ports" and the ash tray would be called an ash tray instead of being called a change tray. The R63 has a cigarette lighter and an ash tray.
When I bought my Mazda2 in 2012 I had the dealer walk through with the salesman and that was the first time I'd ever had someone officially call it a charging port instead of a lighter.
I believe most smoker packages ashtrays are ones that fit in a cupholder like an aftermarket one. At least all I have seen were that way.
The floorboard is a very popular ashtray for many customers.
My 2003 E55 had ashtrays in both rear doors, guessing they were there till 09 or whenever the refresh was.
Porsche still makes you do the delete option I think on the pana and the 911. So even today they are still there.
