I just saw a promtion during this pathetic Atlsnta race that Fox has Kurt Busch and Gunther Steiner in the booth for the race...

That could be interesting.  Seems like an odd choice, but I'm watching.

And two former F1 drivers in the race, Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button.  I plan on watching it just to see how they do.  Kimi had a decent race last time in Nascar until he was shunted out and he knows COTA pretty well.

Didn't realize it until I heard it on Hamlin's podcast, but he has a house in Mooresville.  He also managed Red Bull's Nascar effort...not that anyone would see that as a career highlight.

You guys forgot about everyone's favorite sports car stud/Jeff Gordon superfan, Rodney Sandstorm/Jordan Taylor.

Mr Sandstorm finished practice in tenth place Friday.  I am intrigued.  His ride has been front and center at the last dozen or so road races, but his lack of time in those heavy old cars will have to cost him.  Run through the brakes or something.

Rodney is starting 4th.

The xfinity and truck raced were fun yesterday.  No stage breaks.  Middle of the truck race had a great battle between Ross Chastain and Kyle Busch.  Xfinity had one of the best displays at the front I've seen in quite a while for the last 15 or 20 laps.

It's a hell of an opportunity. The #9 is one of the best cars in the field, something that can't be said for Kimi or Jensen's rides. Looking forward to it.
