If all the challenge cars were available for $3000 each immediately after the challenge and the owners didn't mind selling their cars, which one(s) would you haven taken home with you?

Well- I do and I don't. I know what I'm willing to pay for a 10sec SBC chevy motor. That may or may not be different than what someone else is willing to pay for said 10sec SBC. I know what you have into them, because I've read what I can into your builds. Granted, I've come to know you as a man who knows his way around a motor, and further know DAMN well how to get a screamer of a deal, but I do believe it'd still be worth it to me. Y (and everyone elses) MMV.
If I could only pick one? The Isetta. No question. I wish I had enough cash to make them an offer. swoon.
I also liked the black V-8 Miata. Still needed some sorting (and a clutch!).
I'd want a car I could drive on the streets. The Isetta wasn't it. Even in GA!

Unfortunately, Maple Grove and the Harrisburg Farm Show Flea Markets are both 11/6 this year. The shortblock came from MG, the heads and intake from the former Silver Springs/now HFS events. Lincoln is 11/13/10. Kreitz is 11/27/10. All the parts in the engine were purchased with other Challenge participants with us. Everything you need will be at these events.

???
Now call me crazy and no disrespect to ANYONE here, but i wouldnt pay $3k for a SBC that could get a ~2000lb car into the 10s. I might consider it if it could get a 4000+ lb car there..
Id buy the cherokee. hehehe.

Not for $3k, but everything is for sale.
Although I think I have one more thing to do with mine first
I’ve thought about it and even had the title with me at the challenge incase anyone waved cash in front of my face. I really want to run 12’s in the car first before it finds a new home.

Yes, and for less then $3k but I am looking for trades first...
i've been thinking about it and even told a few teammates at the challenge, but i'm so interested in really seeing where we can take this jeep, plus its just so different than anything else i typically run with it makes me laugh, that i'd almost have an easier time selling my e30 m3 before the jeep. but then again, i've never sold a car, just bought them (though i parted one and traded in another) so here's hoping i can keep them all

You sound like one of my teammates (Yes Im talking about you Jeff) He can't part with any of his cars. He still has 2 former BABE rally cars at his house.
I love this car, heck, I've loved alot of cars but Ive also bought and sold over 120 cars in my life and learned a few important lessons a) I dont have room for them all b) I need to make space/rais funds to build the next one c) Money talks ;)
Right now I wouldnt sell my car for what most would consider a reasonable price, but Im very open to unreasonable prices. There's always a number that makes it worth moving on to the next one.
I mean, if I dont sell this thing how am I gonna be able to build my own kick ass turbo'd jeep?

I think Andy's cars are generally in the 2500lb range, although I don't remember if that's with or with out Andy in them.
Oh, and I'd take the Isetta too. I'd drive it like it was my only mode of transportation, pitching a tent the entire time.
