OEM Miata steelies . . . why wouldn't I?

I want a 996 or 997 with big fat Corsas. 

I have worn out several sets of Falken Azenis 215 and 615 tires on 14 inch steel wheels. They worked well and I think they look fabulous.

Holy smokes! At $170/wheel it's not even worth locating, building, and refinishing your own.

The ride quality of Azenis 215s on an 18 lb steel wheel must have been...memorable.

I've always thought the early Miatas would look great with Lotus Elan knock off wheels.

Do it . . . I would be in for a set for the M2, but they don't appear to have a suitable candidate. 

Those steel cobalt wheels are cheap new.
