Asked about the rear window, nobody knew of one, and the guy who I needed to speak to wasn't there, no luck sorry.

Yeah, that's cool. I should have sent you pictures of the two I know of.
I only found 3 early 70s Mopars, they were Sebrings, a lot of cars seem to have been scrapped
Loads of GM stuff and some Ford were the focus on older cars
just won tix on the radio for the cleveland auto show.
who is going and when? not sure when we are yet, still need to go downtown to pick them up at the station.
My local SCCA chapter is going to be in two different car shows in March.
DARF (Dayton Area Race Fans) Toys for Kids March 16/17 at Lang's Chevrolet in Beavercreek OH
Hotrod Fest March 22-24 at the Expo Center in Dayton (by the airport)
Both are indoor events, so get into Spring season a little early...
Jerry, Have you been to the Hotrod Fest before? Just wondering what it's like from an attendee...
It's just off of I-75 north of Dayton, so it would be easy to get to for most.
In reply to Stan,
I have not, this is it's 2nd or 3rd year and sounds much like Cavalcade in Cincinnati. I've seen photos from last year, the organizer said he had about 150 cars with room for 200. I'm really trying to grow our SCCA chapter with people that have no idea they can do fun cool stuff with their OWN cars, so I'm talking our chapter into entering a few cars for a display.
My humble MR2 will be there, two others also, and I plan to have a monitor running GoPro videos and slideshow photos. Maybe get some of these tuner kids off the street and onto a safe track?
Does it involve anything more than wandering amongst the parked cars?
Is there any reason I would want to bring the Challenge Mustang?
"Does it involve anything more than wandering amongst the parked cars? " - Nope. And nothing wrong with that.
"Is there any reason I would want to bring the Challenge Mustang?" - Because you can?
Any of you ohio peeps have a small light car trailer that you would rent, or better yet; loan to me for a weekend? I need to go get a little car but I hate to rent a trailer.

When and where? i have spent many a weekend at the University of Dayton visiting and the area is familiar.
Sounds interesting
Well, by the end of this week, all of the paperwork for buying my shop should be completed.
Thinking of a get-together there once the weather warms a bit. Probably late April/early May, depending on when I get the restroom installed.
Once I get things kinda settled, I will be posting an open invitation to the Grand-Opening of the Atomic Hairball Research and Development Center.
Beer and grilled cow-chunks will be available.
Signed the papers and wrote a check on Thursday... The twitching in my right eyeball is calming down a bit, and I now own a place that needs a crap-ton of work to get it to where I want it.
But, my monthly $$$ to own it is just over half of what it was to rent it. And it has the potential to work quite well for what I need.
I will post info about the "Grand-Opening" soon...
You'll need to log in to post.
