In reply to aussiesmg:
i'll do a summer bbq here. winter sucks. my impala and vette are covered in snow
If someone wants to bring a long table and everyone brings a dish to pass, we could have it in my garage. I MIGHT be convinced to schlep the big screen down there for viewings of some car movie. Either Senna or Truth in 24 would by my pick.
From what I can see I do not yet have any firm commitments on the weekends of January with the exception of MLK weekend. (Jan 14/15)
Since someone on here bought an old 80's Jap wagon, I thought I would share this: http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2708250642.html

Add Chevette? This is the GRM msg brd... how about add Corvette. Make that ugly POS run and handle!
Another lifelong Buckeye, here on the north side of Columbus. I've been mostly away from this board for a few years..dunno why.
I spend an inordinate amount of time searching eBay and CL for deals, and am currently haunted by a Peugeot 405 Mi16 here in town that I want but don't need.
Current fleet: 91 two-tone (smurf/rust) Miata 06 Trailblazer (tool for disposal of excess petrol) 96 Odyssey (surprisingly rust-free 90's Honda, sadly with badly-slipping tranny) 86 Civic Hatch SCCA ITC car ($700 CL find, needs much work, currently used as a shelf)
my in-laws must like me because they get me lots of summit bucks every christmas.
summer grm pot-luck could be interesting, and we well have to plan ahead. i have lots of parking and easy access to one of the biggest cruise nights in the area. not as much fun as racing but some neat stuff shows up there.
Welcome back Steamcorners.
Board tip of the day:
To make a single spaced posting, there is a quirk on this board that requires you hit the spacebar twice at the end of a sentence. If not you will get it all on one line like you posted above.

Pat, when and where? Count me in for sure.
steamcorners, I have been trying ignore that Mi16 myself
($700 CL find, needs much work, currently used as a shelf) I have a couple of those, well more than a couple actually
Merry Christmas all, I resisted another BiTurbo today but I'm guessing that I will bring another home soon. I should stop looking, but I won't.
Happy Holidays, everyone!!! And Steam, I meant to get in touch with you awhile ago. Our last Tri-State Cheap Bastards Sports Car Club meeting was in your neck of the woods.
Great, now I have to try to ignore the Peugeot as well. And it looks like the 505Sti I tried to buy last year is back up for sale, I had the cash ready and the seller stopped returning my emails.
ok who is going to run at dragway 42 with me january 1?
if the weather is clear and roads are not salty i'm taking the belair, no heater and all. if it is snowy i'm taking the 4x4 blazer.
hangover nationals. quarter mile bracket drags. if its wet or snowy everyone runs on a 20.xx index, if its dry you can go as fast as you want
