Thought I might post this here. The very first Cruise-In at SPARC (Ok, still Cooper Stadium) is a go! It's called "Support the Sports" and benefits the Franklinton based Gladdin Community House. While the day will feature much of the usual classic & muscle car stuff that happens at a typical cruise-in, the sports car/competition world will have a chance to shine as there will also be judged/awarded categories for Sport & Performance and Competition Vehicles. Love to see a huge turnout of of cars that can go around corners as well as the typical chrome & polish types.

I'd love to make it, and I'm actually on vacation this week. Unfortunately, prior commitments mean I can't do it.

So far, looks like 11 people for 6:30. I'll call Quaker tomorrow during the day to see if they can hold some tables for us.

My Scion group meets about once/month at the Colerain location, and usually we have a table for 8-12 with a minimum wait.

Actually, put me down for +1, I'll try to scurry out of work early and see if my friend can go with me. 6:30 as well.

I just found out I have to go to Cleveland for work today so I will not be able to make it.

Convinced the quasi-GF to roll with me. I may get there a little late, but should be there by 7.

Eastsidemav is the only one I know by face (I think) so I hope her gets there first.

Nice meeting some names, and thanks for the magazines Aussie! And the hitch is fine, except they mounted it so the safety chain holder is flush (have to rig something for today) and the wiring harness - they put the male plug in, just like the trailer has. Glad you can see my taillights still!

That was a fun time, Gearhead, Beans and Rusted Busted came out to the Compund today. We had an easy job on the GTV6 to contend with. Well we discovered that as mechanics, collectively we shouldn't be left alone in with a Lego kit.

We did eventually get the project apart, but we had fun, talked, drank some scotch, burned some meat and made very little progress...
