Remember, it's that damn PO's fault .
Once I get my last bits of suspension stuff in, I'll post up here when a get-together will be at my crib in Toledo. Probably in about 2 weekends.

Wish I could have made it to the compound, but I knew I wouldn't be getting home from work until a bit after 4:30 this morning.
Plus, I wanted to get some stuff done at the Hairball Center while the weather is still decent.
Man...I wish I had noticed this thread earlier. I am new to the Akron-Cleveland area and have been wanting to meet some fellow GRMers in my rare days off. Anything going on around Akron-Canton or Cleveland in the coming weekends?
Yes, blame the PO and the Italian engineering. Perhaps we needed more mind altering scotch to come up with ideas faster? Had a good time regardless.

Welcome to the insanity!!!
No idea if anything is happening over the next couple weekends, but Ohio has an unusually large group of GRM'ers, so things pop-up every once in awhile.
Just keep tabs on this thread.

How I read this
Welcome to the zoo
I actually spotted a red E36 M3 2 door with lexan windows/half-cage(?)/suspension and all kinds of cool stuff cruising around on W. Market street in Fairlawn, Ohio just 2-3 weeks ago...tried to get his attention (was in a 13 WRX) but traffic wouldn't allow it. Looked like an awesome car...sound familiar to anyone?
Steve, not sure if you got my text or not, but I grabbed the wrong wad of cash out of my pocket for the wheels. 99% sure I owe you another $100-140, I can't recall how much I had in the other pocket. I got home and found the $200 I SHOULD'VE given you instead of the $60-$100 I was expecting. Had a pretty gnarly headache by the time I left, probably why I didn't notice.
I probably didn't notice because I think that wad had 12 single's and three 20's. Went to get some dinner, reached in my pocket to pay, and thought "Whoa, this is WAY more than I should have in my pocket. Dammit, must've given Steve the wrong amount."
I had a good time, even though we all looked like we had no idea what we were doing.
It was good to see everyone in the flesh and now my Scotch habit is magnitudes more expensive, thanks Steve.
Oh, it was all the PO's fault.
Well, all my parts came in to do my suspension, so if anyone wants to come over Sunday and watch me hack E36 M3 up, shoot me a message and I'll send you my address. Pizza and Colorado's finest will be supplied.

Per?
His kid looks "a lot" like Stig
Bummer. Busy that weekend.
Next weekend is USAC Midgets at Columbus Motor Speedway. $10/car load admission, I believe.
You'll need to log in to post.
