Been planning on using Kumhos on my mid-engine "Seven" (Midlana) since it was designed. Now that it's getting close to being a roller, I called around to get a set. Nope, neither my local rep nor (apparently) www.tirerack has them in stock. Maybe it's my choice of sizes, 275 mm rear and 205-225 mm fronts, all in 17". Are those unpopular or odd sizes?
Have these fallen out of favor, or is it the opposite, that everyone wants them and they can't make them fast enough? If I can't find them, I'm looking for suggestions for appropriate DOT trackday tire for a lightweight car.
