yesterday was my first day at this machine shop. i was taking this SBC block out to the cleaner behind the shop. while out in the back lot, i spied a VOLVO 122!!! stock from the outside, body is straight, alot of rust visible on the roof, but it looks like mostly surface rust. WANT. the owner of my shop says it belongs to one of the owners of the neighboring shops (its in a complex) and its been sitting for quite a while, so running is a likely no. i would really like find the owner and make an offer, but i understand these are kind of collectable, what would be reasonable???

Pictures would help but a non-running 122 in the described condition? I'd maybe offer $250 to see what happens.

If it's a 2 door their very collectible, especially if it's an "S" model. If you can get it under 2 grand for a solid body you'll be doing good but I'd start at about 1/4 of that and work up. Oh yeah, it's got plenty of room for the SBC!

solid floor, solid unitzed structure, all glass in good condition - $200-$500

122S is semi desirable, 123 GT is the gem to find car. Seem to remember the 123 GT having the1800S engine w/twin pipe headpipe(exhaust), it also came with the overdrive...

I'm disappointed there aren't some Scandanavian volleyball players.
