You're too late. It's already been validated that it's not just me. Don't get me wrong, I like bolt on flares sometimes, but those look like they don't fit that car, so they don't look good....to me.

WHAT THE CRAP IS THAT!?!?!?!?!?
Elephantitis of the Road Runner!
I think this "thing" will haunt my dreams now.
That said, I'd SOOOO drive that thing! It kinda reminds me of the space buggy from the arcade game Moon Patrol.

Bah! I am digging it. I since the purchase of a barbie pink 24hrs of lemans rx7 these cars have been slowly eating their way into my brain. I love the 1st gen widebody look, and even these flares are damm sexy...

Well, Mark Hamill and Annie Potts sat it in it...
OK, this is to go with the BMW M1:

Starlet? something French?
oh, and the above Datsun, haven't seen a Janspeed sponsorship in a while. Poor Jan O'dor losing his son Keith in a racing incident in the early 90s.
In reply to nutherjrfan: Neither Japanese nor French, actually. Clue, everything above the widebody is pretty much stock.
