Talk about making full circle...
The opening post was about the JBA Wide Body Mustang. My friend Shannon who owns Latemodel Restoration Supply (www.50resto.com) owned it for a short time. Actually, owned it AND the Capri version as well.

Still looks like crap and ruins any performance aspirations the car ever could have had.

Right? Why put a motor with 750bhp in a car with 21s?
Thanks Hooniverse, 2002 + Buick 215.
The oft disputed, and difficult to prove, Winningest Chassis in Motor Racing History.
Jim Downing owned it in 82 and 83 when it won the championship one year and came in second one year.
Then he sold it to Ira Young where, in Malibu Grand Prix livery, it won four straight titles with Jack Baldwin in 84 and 85, and Tommy Kendall in 86 and 87.
I got to interview Jack Baldwin last weekend for a "side project". If I ever get around to writing the story of this car, I will be sure to inform the "GRM crew". It is certainly a story that deserves to be told.
(I think the coolest part about going to Jacks house was seeing the two solid gold Camel GTU trophies that had to weigh 10 pounds each, and the drawer full of GTU medals that he had. What a cool guy, just an absolute professional.)
^ never thought a fox/capri could look so good!

Now for the opposite end of the spectrum:
Lancia. Don't like the rear flares, though. too sharp-edged, but nothing some fiberglass could fix..

Not boxy, but they are factory:
I like the red Civic better than the flat black one.
I also like the Korean Civic better. It is quite attractive.
Besides, friend of GRM Andy Lally drives one!
Does the silver grey "Civic" have a Type R sticker on it's fender? Looks like it.

No, it's the Kia Koup R concept from Sema last year. It was built by Atlanta-ish Kinetic Motorsport who field the GS class cars.
