A coworker of mine, another mechanical engineer, is retiring next week, and he brought his 5-year project to work today for the first time. He bought this car 45 years ago, his very first car, and kept it all these years. For the past 5, he's been restoring this to show-car standards. Believe me, it's even more perfect and spectacular in real life than it appears in these pictures.
Is the top cream or a mint green? Engine? Trans?
It looks amazing, and I am not usually wooed by Shoeboxes!

That is a very nice car. I would humbly suggest he lower the front another inch or two, though.
Nice. Bonus points for it not being red or black.
The top is pearl white. The engine is a GM 350 crate motor and the trans is a Muncie 4 speed.
I love these cars. Nice job!
If you live in Florida; where do you retire to?
He's going to stay here in Melbourne but he's also got a hunting place in Georgia.
Very nice, that, and a cool that it's his first car, too.
