I may need to get some new rotors for my 2009 Mazda3 5DR, what's the hive consensus? I've used CENTRIC premium rotors in the past with good results. I'm not looking for drilled/slotted/badass, just no pedal issues. Any opinions?

I had this same question and Centric seemed to be the best bet. I got mine from Amazon, same price as rock auto (or maybe a buck or two more) but free prime shipping go figure.

Centric Premium's good, even regular Centric is good but the Premium line is more precisely machined for less runout.

Another +1 for Centric.

I buy the cheapest rotors I can find and put on decent pads. I've been using the cheapest Advance and Napa rotors for years without an issue.

Centric 120 Series, never had a pulsing pedal with them. Ever. And, they are well-made enough to handle track duty without issue, so you for sure won't ever have a problem with them for DDing.

Me (and most of my friends) have been running bargain-basement Chinese rotors for many years as well, so now that I'm using Centrics I feel like a baller

On my e36 M3 track rat I generally used Brembo or Balo interchangeably. I found that when I switched from Hawk HT10s to Performance Friction PFC01s, rotor wear was lower. When I switched to Carbotech (not certain, but probably XP10) the rotor and pad wear was much, much better.

I also usually use whatever rotors Advance auto or Autozone has, and put performance brake pads on. The stopping power is good, even with autocross use (with good autocross runs, I don't use the brakes much )

-1 for Centric premiums. Tried them a few different times and have had problems with them warping. For cheap rotors I've had good luck with Raybestos and AC Delco.

Centric: I have found that Amazon is the place to get them. I got a set for my 924s delivered to my door for something like $25 each. Considdering the weight of them I have no idea how they make any $$$$$ on these things.

I've got Centric Premiums on the RX8, so far they seem to survive well even with the Hawk Street/Track pads.

I got mine and the pads from Tirerack.
