If your not going to buy the TR, then do share. I've had 10 TR8s and am look out for no11, no12, no13, I think you get the picture.
I can understand and relate to your plight my friend. My good friend's father has a TR-7 with good paint and (I believe) a Buick v6/auto swap that runs and drives but just sits under a tarp and a car cover, in the garage, because it won't pass smog in CA for whatever reason (iirc, he said no room in the engine bay for smog equipment?) I would love to see it on the road again, whether or not it's mine.
