I found a couple videos of the Dwarf car and am starting to see them fairly cheap, any idea what road course series I can potentially run with them?

A guy I know who lives in NW Indiana has one. He autocrosses it a lot. It's in F-Mod, where it isn't really competitive because it has no aero, but it's fun. He says he has trouble finding places where he can put it on a road course because most "track day" type events don't feel comfortable putting a sub 1000 lb open wheel car out there with production cars and big tube frame cars and not many similar cars (F500, F600, FF) show up at events like that.
No idea now. When I first started going to HPDEs they were racing these things in NASA. There were tons of them at Summit Main back in the day.
There was a group of guys who used to road race Legends cars at Waterford Hills. They were fine until they changed from street BFGs to road race Hoosiers, then stuff started breaking.
The Washington DC region SCCA runs them as "LC" (Legends Class) up at Summit Point. See the results for group 1 in this linky...: http://www.wdcr-scca.org/LinkClick.aspx?fileticket=efTuGwERf9k%3d&tabid=1801&mid=3983
The first time they ran at Summit the SCCA was worried about their top speed so they gave them a chance to race in exhibition but they used the cut off road half way down the main straight to shorten the track for them. It was a good show. Since then they've running with the small bore closed wheel cars. They are fast and can keep up with/ahead of the pack.
There is a legend car on my local craigs list. Car is very local to me, but I have no idea where I would be able to drive it. Interesting cars.
When I asked few years back I was told I could run in "Formula Libre" with a little work. Most dwarfs and legends have heim joints in single shear they wanted double not hard to do but I decide to sell out after 16 years it was time to move on.
Not all dwarfs are crap there are 20 or so name brands most are realy nice with F.E.A. designed chassis. how ever there are still hand built one off out there. I built and raced 4 or them.
I don't understand why the SCCA and other series are so worried about them, especially since they make you spend all that money to go through drivers school.
I know that MCSCC; a Midwest racing organization; think Wis, Il, & IN. area; link here: http://www.mcscc.org/ does accept these cars for road racing in wheel to wheel races and in time trials. I have seen some of these cars come out over the years. To run wheel to wheel you would have to get a comp. license but for time trials only a reg. drivers license will do and of course a helmet! The same safety regs. apply for a HPDE's which are also part of the program.

I think those same guys race at Hallett in Oklahoma. I've been on the track at the same time with them (in a SRF) and they go pretty well. It is kind of like watching a chariot race, though - they're pretty physical with each other, there's a lot of banging around and they're doing just about everything but hitting each other with whips.
