Such extremes of torture and pleasure involved with saving old cars. And when I make it as perfect as I can it will be time for it to go. So many other things I could be doing but this is what I do...

Once it's been nursed back to health, you release it back into the wild. Off to save the next one.

I've never been so damned frustrated (once flung an air-cleaner cover Frisbee-style from my house into a neighbors elm tree (150ft)) working on old cars.

But I've almost always walked away more satisfied and compete-feeling after I was done. It's therapy.

To paraphrase the revered Homer (Simpson, not the 8th Century Greek writer): "Old cars are the cause of, AND the solution to, all of life's problems."
