The lighter the better. If you're in the land of the pines, light gold is a good color:
My Forester is "Sierra Gold Pri Metallic Clearcoat" and doesn't show pollen or much bird mess.
However, there is a point where the paint just won't hide the dirt any longer.

Actually, the Kona referred to the mountain bike company. The car came with a decent Kona bike, roof rack, special seat covers,trim,etc.
GM Pewter hide well but, if you have to spot paint an area, the side tone is difficult to match.
Definitely a light color. My Camry is a light blue and looks clean even though I have only washed it once. I only washed it because the guy I bought it from must have lived on a dirt road because there was mud on the black plastic rocker panels.
The lighter the color, the less scratches, dings, dents, orange peel, body work will show up. White is the king of that.
85% of newer cars are sold in white, silver (or other metallics - gray, gold, etc.) and black. About 6% various reds, another 6% in various brighter blues/greens -- and very little of any other color.
As for not showing dirt - based on past experience I'd say silver/gray/champagne. But - you can't go wrong when you --- beige against the machine. :)

Volvo gold - I can see the difference after I wash it, but no one else can.
Metallic Silver is one of, if not the, most difficult colors to paint correctly. It shows flaws in equipment and technique so easily. If bodywork will be an issue, like it is not getting block sanded, it is tough to beat white. Anybody can turn out a good white paint job, plus the paint itself is cheap. Don't know if this matters or not, but now you know. J
Rattle can camo.
Grey, dark silvers, maybe tan/champagne?
Brake dust gray.
