The van is done. Some front end and back end damage so the trim and hatch are no good.

It's going to the auto recycler for scrap.

I've pulled tail lights, hitch receiver, mirrors, alternator (pretty new) and mats.

I'm going to cut the cat out as well before towing it over.

Anything else I should pull before ditching it entirely?

Does anyone here need any parts from a windstar?

Cut everything off of it you can and then weld it back on in the center of the floor. Add some sort of forced induction and bring to 2015 challenge.

Ok I am no help but it was the first thing that crossed my mind.

Windstar automatic transmissions are made of glass and fit many different model years, so maybe the transmission?

Thanks for offering that up and hopefully some GRMer can use/need that stuff. The salvage yards around here are full of them and the only thing that seems to consistently get pulled are the master power window switches. Sounds like you already have pulled most of the useable things.

How did you do with this? Was it worth parting out?

Overall, I think so... but barely. The stuff I grabbed is the stuff that's worth more then scrap car by weight price. So, yeah.

Cutoff behind front seats, drive around with only the front clip.

If the transmission functions it is probably worth something - most die by transmission failure. Or rusty subframes.

Which engine? If a 3.8L, the intake is worth some quid to the V6 Mustang crowd.

All 2000 Windstars were 3.8's.

That "V6 Mustang" crowd (those with 3.8's) is now tiny and Junked windstars are plentiful, so I don't think the intake manifold would be worth pulling.
