Heading to Peru in the morning for the Zoomboni's next challenge, a National Tour autocross. Of course no other EMods are registered so I might get lumped with some other group.
If you happen to see me, come by and say hi. Between the car, the muppet helmet, or my fluorescent yellow hat, I tend to stand out.
I've been to Indiana, Peru and played volleyball with some kids there. Interesting story how the two towns were named. I wish I could remember the details well enough to pass it along.

Home from the Tour. I saw a few GRM t-shirts but none of them were forum members. I was in a class of one (EM) so I won the trophy. My times were alright and I would have finished 2nd of 4 in DM.
The Zoomboni suffered a toggle switch failure on day one so I didn't have a cooling fan. Repaired it onsite with a spare from the trailer. Also noticed some rather catastrophic left rear wheel bearing play so that'll get replaced today now that I'm home.
Towing and getting 10 mpg when gas is $5.25 a gallon is a truly painful experience. Pouring $160 into the tank made me want to curl up and wimper for a while at the service station. It's making me wonder if I really want to try going to Nationals in Lincoln this year. That's 800 miles away .
The grip from concrete is awesome. The car hooks up so well it actually needs another 200 hp to get out of the corners with all the authority it feels like it does on asphalt.
Did you get bitten by the improperly placed cone of confusion? I heard that was a real pain in the butt for a couple run groups.
But, yeah, Peru is awesome as a site. Every event I've ever been to there did a great job at using an oddly shaped piece of concrete and turning it into a true national level course. Plus, nuke bunkers.

If I did it wasn't noticeable for my low tier driving skills. I saw the complaints coming from heat 3 and I was in heat 4 though.
