Is this brilliant or what?!
Nice, reminds me of those infectious disease rigs with the built in gloves. :P I guess the French engineers just assumed you'd never be so crass as to put skis in your car without cleaning them.
Heh, well I haven't had a car with one before. The last Euro cars I've had were the 951 & Lotus Elan, neither of which needed a ski cubbyhole for obvious reasons.
I happen to know that a Osterkraut will fit through the ski hole panel in an E30. Fortunately no Ski-Codoms in that one.
Subaru does that on Canadian models of the old STI sedan but I dunno if they ever did it in the US. You gotta have that ski passthrough in this country - every sedan I've ever owned has had one, even my old Cavalier.
Never thought to put a bag on it though, that's going above and beyond. I applaud zee Germans.

My 02 WRX had a ski pass-through.
Meh. Mericans have had pickup trucks for 100 years. We learned to put nasty, dirty, goofy sized crap all the way in the back-were it belongs.

We'll teach them culture in the end

My '89 325ix had the ski bag on the pass thru.
I used to have a 1980 Mazda 626 coupe that had a 60/40 fold down back seat, that was pretty handy. i could carry all kinds of long things in that car, particularly if I reclined the passenger side front seat.
actually... Peugeot had the pass through back in 1989.... the 405 Mi16 and I'm pretty sure it had a bag...
