A first look of the ARP bodied, Southwest tour type tube Mustang of 2011
V8 StockCar V8 SPO champion Paul Breehne.
2900# with driver, RoushYates 358 ci Ford making 730 HP.
Brembo brakes, Jerico 4 speed.
Was bodied as a Ford Fusion, after crash at Daytona rebodied with the ARP.
ARP gets about 3K for the body with lexan and shipping

Not trying to sell anything..............just a pic of a buddy's cool, very fast racer, that was not outrageously expensive to build.
I am a proponent of going real fast for as few dollars as possible and believe the short track tube frame stock car chassis are one of the best ways to do it.
Do you know how much the rolling chassis weighed without the body?
What material is the body, metal or fiberglass?

Not exactly sure if you mean minus engine/tranny and body.
But we can work backward
2700# car minus driver
- 600 engine/tranny
- 75 body (weighs virtually nothin)
2025# as true roller would be my guesstimate

Yeah, that's pretty cool. Nice to see a stock car that doesn't have to weigh 3400.
With stock head and tail lamps installed, I wonder if you could get that on the street? Just for a couple of blocks.
