Hi guys,
So We have a couple photographers shooting us some pictures from Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this weekend. The pictures are really well done so I thought I'd share and create a place for the links to congregate.
Here are the first couple groups of photos. They are from yesterday during the first day of practice and qualifying. Enjoy. I'll keep adding more throughout the weekend.

Great photos! I keep telling myself I need to make the drive out there to spectate one of these years. It looks like a fantastic event!
That was my favorite too Keith. Totally awesome picture.
Very cool. Does anyone have a tissue?
Yeah, awesome shots. Rupert knows how to capture that place.
A good friend of mine owns that D-Zug 935K3. Its an amazing build. I sent him a link to the picture first thing this morning.
I like this - S3700! Anybody know what engine they're using?
Though this should really be my favorite, being both sideways and #77. ;)
The "S3700" is probably using a Honda J37. 3.7 litre V6.
Has anyone here actually run this? I'm wondering how feasible it would be for a privateer without huge pockets to do.
I haven't run it, but I have been there a few times. One big expense would be travel and lodging. Practice takes place over a few days, meaning it's more than one night in a hotel. Plus there aren't a ton of hotels in the area. And not too many people live near Colorado, so your tow might be long. Still, it's an amazing event.
I'm thinking drive the race car out there and hope i don't wad it up.

Oh stop using common sense!

Years ago Blake Fuller, now the owner of Braille, did just that in his Civic. We did a feature on it.

I'm taking that as a written contract/offer that you will do a feature on me/my car when i do this.
Just so you know.
Can I tow you out and crew Ben? That'd be worth a week off work right there!
That's not so much adventure-ness, then, though.
YEah.... but it'd be much more comfortable and if you DO wad it up, we can still get it home!
Final Pictures are in. Hope you all enjoyed them as much as I did.

This is an event I feel like I should do, but given the performance level of my car I don't think I am well enough endowed to haul up the mountain at WOT. It may be paved now, but the exposure is huge.
Still, if you want to run against people like Sebastien Loeb, it's about the only venue you have.
In reply to Keith Tanner:
Meanwhile at Mt. Washington we had David Higgins, Tim O'Neil, Dan and Frank Sprongl, Ramana Lagemann and Travis Pastrana. Not that it doesn't take stones to race Pike's Peak but http://rallytakeover.kinja.com/americas-toughest-hillclimb-is-back-1024554934/+DustyVentures
How much does it cost to race up the mountain? From what I understand, the fee isn't too high.
