My girlfriend has a 1998 Saab convertible and the top leaks after it rains. The top holds all the water until you drive the car and then as you stop, go, or turn it dumps water all over you. I asked on Saab Net but frankly I think Saab Net sucks (sorry scott but you do). I have attempted to clean out all the water passages I could find and I tightened the latches. My buddy Jak and I sprayed water on the top with one of us in the car and could not make it leak. I love Saabs but this convertible sucks, it just seems to add 400 breakable parts to the car.

where does it leak? you could always do the ghetto waterproofing I did to my 240sx convertible.. go to a sports store, ask for a spray to rewaterproof your favorite ski jacket, buy two cans of it, coat the roof.

That helped. But mine was still leaking at the seals... that was harder to fix.
