It's been rumored. I'm not sure that's what it will, in fact, use.
Porsche has produced two flat-8s. The first was the 1.5 liter F1 engine, and later they built a completely different 3 liter 8 for use in the 908 sports prototype (one was popped into a 914 as a gift for Mr. Porsche's birthday.)
