Well executed, but it is more Porsche than Corvair, IMO.
A freind of mine has seen that car up close. Says that the mechanical work is impeccable.
One of my fantasy projects is to get one of those custom ring/pinion gear setups and reverse a WRX drivetrain for a Corvair.
WRX swaps have been done. You'd be better off going to a 915 trans and leave the corvair tranny out of the equation. We have broken corvair trans with 4 spider gears with a tripple weber motor. Putting the porsche trans in a corvair isn't that hard.
