So now we have the Mini, Mini Cabrio, Mini Clubman, Mini Crossover and soon to be Mini Speedster. They are getting their moneys worth out of this platform.

...looks more like a TT to me... with a different front end...
I could see this being a fun little car... and possibly even more practical than the current 'vert, as sans rear seats, greater boot space may be possible... and I'm guessing a retractable hardtop would be likely. Not having to accomodate a rear seat may allow for a stiffer chassis than the current and past MINI 'verts.
This car could put a ding in Miata sales... for buyers not interested in RWD... and possibly the New Beatle... not to mention MINI's own 'vert...
But as mentioned, this car has been rumored for almost a decade now... I'll believe it when I see it... We shall see...
