Rock Auto has slotted front brake rotors for my car branded as Ultra Rotor closeout priced at $13.59 ea.

I don't need them right now, but at that price I could throw them on the shelf.

Anyone know of these "ultra" rotors?

Edit - $18 shipping is a buzzkill

Looks like a cheap copy of the ATE PremiumOne rotors:

I'd spend the extra on a "name brand" like Centric. They have different levels of good/better/best. What kind of car and use are we dealing with here?

Those grooves make a great spot for the cracks to begin. I tried a set on the IT Neon.

I had the ATEs on my 318ti. Even set up with calipers (and properly sized rotors) from the 330) and hawk HPS pads.. the first time you hit the brakes in the rain after a period of not using them (like on the highway) you got a second of "no brakes" before the water in the slots was burned off.
