As mentioned in other threads, I was looking for a lease on a Fiesta ST. Lot's of reasons I wanted a lease, lots of reasons the ST was perfect for me and don't worry - I am keeping the Kia Rondo.
From other forums I knew the rate I wanted had been done locally, so after running into some typical dealer BS early on, I decided to email all dealers with an ST languishing on the lot within an hour and state my offer. One got back to me and said "we can do that". They let me take the car overnight, which of course sealed the deal in my mind because who wants to gove a fun car back, right? So thanks to Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls and allow me to present: The Batmobile. (named by my son, 2.5 yrs old)
(Dealer plate...for those concerned. Hope to get BATMOBL or IMBTMAN or similar)
So far, it is just what the doctor ordered. Better mileage for my commute, much more fun for when I am alone, fits the car seat for daycare duty, Seats fold and it has a hatch for the grocery/Lowes runs, and I can autocross it if I want. The benefits of lightweight and a tossable chassis with a torquey motor are here in spades.
Looks great. Good choice on the hatchback.
Keep us updated!
I've been seeing more and more of these on the road. Great call!

Pinchvalve - I tried to message you through the forum, but I don't think it went through. Can you email me at klb 67 pgh at yahoo dot com to discuss your Ford experience (I'm Explorer shopping in the Burgh).
Nice!
If these were AWD they would be on my radar. Already had a FWD turbo goodness with my Speed 3.

Focus... Fiesta... same thing right?
Either way - Conga Rats!
I predict you will be very pleased and look forward to confirmation.
I'm in McMurray. You can drop it off for the weekend. Thanks.
Sweet! I wish a Ford dealer actually responded to my inquiries like they did for you then we could be Fiesta twins
Your title says Focus, I and my Focus ST am disappoint.
How are the freeway manners?
Wow, I didn't even realize I put Focus in the title! I had a REALLY weird day. But yes, it is a Focus. lkb67, I have no idea how to get messages through the board, so I will take a look and figure it out.

You must really be having a weird day....
Didn't see any messages from the board, but I updated my email address, so it should get through now. FWIW, I dealt with Shawn Watson, the internet sales guy at Ron Lewis Ford in Beaver Falls, PA. There was no hard sell from anyone, and no surprise fees or tricks. Heck, the downpayment came out 66-cents higher than we discussed, and they gave the difference to me in cash. Well, coins. No trying to pimp them out, but it was a very different experience than I got anywhere else locally.
Very nice, and it's refreshing to hear of a good dealer experience.

HaHa yea "Its not a Focus, its a Focus!!! Glad we got that straightened out!"
I saw your handle and going on that just assumed the title said Fiesta. If I were looking at new cars, it would be between the Focus ST and Fiesta ST...

Nice, leave it completely stock, take it to an autox event and run G-street.....leave everything on and beat the berkeley out of it. If you possess any scraps of driving talent, you'll be able to make it do amazing things.
Just remember, with equal drivers, a foST will win on a larger more open course whereas the fiST will win on a tighter more technical course.
If it's an automatic transmission please see my post concerning my daughter's Focus.
