For the first time this past weekend I volunteered to help at an auction being a driver. It was a really interesting experience that I would highly recommend.

By the end of the night I had sat in a $900k+ classic race car driven a couple Ferraris and helped push cars across the auction block that I don't think I can ever afford but was pushing them like they were a broken challenge car. There is something special about calling a $200k Ferrari a pos as you struggle to push the non running exotic.

It was a fun way to get up close and personal with some unique cars.

That would be a great time.

I too recommend pushing cars at auctions. I was once walking into an auction when I noticed a couple of guys struggling to push a Corvette C5-R up into an adjacent building for inspection before it crossed the block. I ran over to help. Security tried to stop me as we pushed it into the building, but the C5-R guys were having none of that nonsense. "He's with us" and all that. Got free entry and VIP status to the auction that day. It was a good day. Also, it pays to help people.
