This one may need a bulge in the hood to pass Challenge Tech.
The junkyard is every GRMer's playground
In Mother Russia, There is not hood bulge for engine.
There engine bulge for entire car.
Even better, I bet it is twin engined.
I'd be worried the thing would fall over on my.
About a year ago my father and I went out to the port of richmond and got a tour of a 1948 US navy gun boat that a couple of surly grey beards were restoring. Well apparently the original engine was shot so they cut the deck off and put in two huge mercedes Maybach diesel engines. I was telling my pops that it might fit into a mercedes.
Now all it needs is some fat drag radials!

Any idea what that monster is? I mean the engine.
Gale Banks would twin turbo that.

No idea. But I bet the red line is a stratospheric 1,500 rpms.

Haha that is a great picture!
In reply to cwh:
My initial response was Detroit Diesel 8V92, but its way too big, and way too much "stuff" on top of the cylinders.
So I'm no help.

Probably true. Who cares about redline when you've got a million and a half lb/ft of torque??
