It's too bad. I always liked the odd ball cars racing in PWC. I loved seeing the Volvo sedans and the V 's but now it will only be "normal" type sports cars.

Likewise. I haven't watched racing in so long, I'm not even sure what PWC stands for.
The article suggests the ATS and CTS are both getting cancelled in a couple of years. Both platforms have been praised but have they really accomplished what the company wanted?
Maybe the company that zags instead of zigs is changing direction again. Maybe they're hoping to find a way back to LeMans now that WEC is evolving, too.
Cadillac did really well in certain conditions. They were usually fastest at the beginning of races before the lighter cars got their tires warmed up, then would begin to fall back. A couple well timed cautions and they were hard to beat. I watched them at mid ohio this year. Johnny Oconnell spun very early, i think first lap, and went to the back way behind the rest of the field. Watching him chew through the field to end up some where around around tenth was pretty awesome. He was flat out flying. His teammate (whos name escapes me, young guy) was super nice. Signing autographs and taking pics with the kids, really nice and patient. I hope thibgs go well for him.

Pirelli World Challenge

Or Personal Water Craft. I figured out what it meant in this thread after the first three posts, but it is a much more common abbreviation for jet skiis than a racing series.
I really am bummed, because Cadliac put a solid effort in PWC. I wonder if Johnny-O is going to retire.

I sure hope not.....
Word is that Callaway's CR7 GT3R(check it) ? could finally come stateside......yeah right GM corporate would probably put the Kabosh on it cuz of the GTLM presence ....which IMHO makes no sense other than creating a venue for ChipG ......yes I'm a hatr GT3 in Europe is some of the finest racing to be witnessed.
