This is from my friend who has had 100+ Fieros, taken them apart, has put 3.4s, V8s, and Quad 4s in them:
"There is no difference in the front cross members. The only odd ball in the rear is the 88 4 cyl auto, which has an extra plate for the automatic. You can only get extra parts from Fieros."
Kind of cryptic to me.
