Hey guys, I just had a quick question, I have a 1992 Dodge W150 that has a PCV valve on the passenger side valve cover and a breather on the drivers side valve cover. My question is, the breather is the style with a hose that goes back into my air cleaner, I just picked up a Edelbrock breather that has no hose to run back into the air cleaner, I've already replaced the PCV and hose on the other side but I'm wondering if I use this breather and just plug the hole in my air cleaner where the old breather used to vent and just vent to the atmosphere will the truck run all right? Or will that start to reek havoc on my sensors and show things are out of whack? Thanks in advance!

It should run just fine, computer won't know the difference.

It'll run fine, you'll get less oil contamination in the intake but your oil will get dirty faster.

The hose from the AC is to allow fresh air to enter the breather. the new one will work fine as long as you have vacuum at the PCV valve. Yep, just plug the unused hole.
