I want someone with AutoX / Track experience with both tires on the same car to chime in on this one. Would like to migrate the XR4 over to rcomps next year and these seem to be the two in the size I'd run that are 'it'. Thanks!

I don't have any personal experience with the BFG's, but from my research the V710s are likely to be slightly faster, but the BFG's will likely last longer.
In terms of speed, Hoosiers are the fastest and the fastest wearing. V710's are next and I think Hankook makes a comparable tire. The third tier would be RA1s/R888's, NT01s. I believe the BFG's are kind of in between 2 and 3. Are there any options offered by Nitto or Toyo in a size close to what you're looking for?
I would say the R1s and the V710s are actually very close in performance. The differences we've seen have been more due to some sizing differences. Both are great tires.
For autocross, the Hankook Z214 in the C71 compound is second fastest behind the Hoosier, and ahead of the R1's or V710's.

Any word on lifespan with the C71 rubber? The Kooks are about $280 a set cheaper than the Hoho A6s... and since I need 15x9s to go with them, cheaper is better, especially if I can get more life out of them.
