Finally bought a 240z that will become the home on my turbo l28 and need to get some race seats that support 4 point harnesses. What will fit?

Well, Planted makes brackets as does Corbeau, so I'd think you could have your pick of any aftermarket seat, basically. I tend to like Sparcos, myself, and have had good luck finding used ones on Craigslist.

Do you want FIA approved seats or aluminum buckets or steel frame seats? Are these going to be used on the road?

I would prefer whatever os lightest. The car will be street legal but really only driven to and from the track and shows.

Good value and good seats. While I have run them on the street, I would not recommend as a dual purpose seat.

Why would you not recommend them for dual purpose?

Depends how hardcore you are. You order these by waist size (or was it hip?) No matter, they are snug and if you have two of them, it will filter the size of passenger you take on board. Be aware that if your wife does not fit for any reason, she will be unhappy with you, not the seats.

I drove them on the street in the MGB Gt for a bout 5 years. Needed sliders to get out because of the very high bolsters. If it is really warm, its going to get toasty on the backside.

We have some in the Sciricco. They are ok as far as comfort but I wouldn't drive very far in them and I wouldn't drive them on a track or the road with out a back brace for the seat.

I would take a look at Bimarco seats. They start at $300 new for an FIA approved seat.

I like the look of the Bimarcos.
