Rather than buying up go fast parts I've been making safety related purchases lately, HANS, Bolt-in Roll Bar, six point harness and so on. Now that the weather is starting to warm up a bit I've been installing all of my new parts, and I have a couple questions about the lap belts and where to mount them to in my car, a 94' Integra. I was reading the recently posted 'Strap In' article that was posted last week and the single piece of paper that came with my G-Force harness. Thanks for the article by the way.

Should I use the OEM seat belt mounting point on the driver's side? The G-Force paperwork says not to have the belt mounted behind the seat back but I didn't see anything in the magazine to dispute that.

On the passenger side, I have a mounting tab on the planted seat base that looks like it could be used with the factory seat belts - should I use this with the lap belt? It would be more in-line Left to Right with the outboard mounting point. If not, I'll mount it in the tunnel with a nice big backing plate.

It looks like your problem is your seat is too far forward. One solution would be to grow longer legs, but moving your belts attachment point is probably easier.

If you have a cage the harness should be mounted to an attached seat frame but it looks like you have used the factory adjustable seat base, so your best option is the factory attachment points
