Radwood Detroit was a fantastic show! Me and the gang brought the MkII Celica Supra. By any chance, did you see the C8 that showed up in the parking lot?
From a distance, yes.
Some of my shots, though many are duplicates of Adrian's:
Mark VII with a blown Coyote swap:
Nissan ZX50 with "Major Motion":
Maverick's Ninja from Top Gun:
C4 ZR1 with original Goodyear gatorbacks. He doesn't actually drive it on them, he just puts them on for shows:
Freaking bonkers Shelby CSX:
Suzuki Cappuchino, one of several Kei cars and other JDM stuff:
And not just Kei cars, but also K-cars!
Glamor shot of a 951 and 931. We met and spoke to the owners for a while:
I seriously haven't seen this many Corrados since a VW dealer in the 90s:
Super clean 4-eyed Saleen Mustang. It even had a period-correct Escort radar detector on the dash:
This one was special to me because I had this exact car in college, only mine was black. 86 Prelude Si:
That Fiesta is awesome; and honestly, it's so clean I'm a little unhappy at the internal cage. Like, it's so close to being a stealthy surrvivor!
Dodge M42 prototype, also known as "The Wraith" from the Charlie Sheen movie:
930 with a very appropriate license plate:
This Nissan Stelvio Zagato... thing won "Raddest of Show"
Overview shot with the Ren Cen on one side and Windsor accross the river:

Pretty sure this is all the running Corrados in the country. Or at least the ones that can make it out of the garage without breaking.
Awesome thread (that’s all I have to add)
So why isn't there a Radwood Atlanta?????

There was Radwood in Atlanta last year I believe, or earlier this year. It was part of Gridlife I believe.

Fixed that for ya.
Radwood Panama City for the true theme of Radwood.

I scrolled past the c4, and then I saw the wheels. Oooooooh.
Cool I think that is the third AutoZam I have seen in metro detroit. White one at the dream cruise, red one with an older Japanese guy at the wheel just driving through Ferndale, and now this one. Cool!
I have never heard of radwood and I am sad I missed it as we had a just chill at home day that day. I wish I had my Dodge Neon race car still or my XR4Ti or my 90 Miata. I guess I timed out car wise out of this scene.

What kind of Neon race car did you have? I actually own two of the Celebrity Challenge coupes. One is nearly mint and the other is covered in 90% of the original vinyl graphics and heavy patina due to a PO that left it outside for three years. I plan on putting both back to (mostly) "as ran" over the winter.
I considered bringing one down to this show but honestly couldn't be arsed to do it and ended up just rolling through briefly. I'm kind of disappointed, I expected more cars (especially cool domestics). Before anyone says anything, I know that I was part of the problem.
In reply to Drunkonunleaded :
I actually had two Neons. Both coupes, raced the 98 in SCCA ITA class. But mostly had fun at autocrosses, ice racing, and the first trial rallycross in Michigan that was years before the official SCCA program.
It was a fun era when for small fast cars, Neons, Integrals, Sentras, Civics etc.
I still think the Neon manual trans is the easiest to teach anyone to drive a stick with.
In reply to Advan046 :
Are you in the Ferndale area? Or just happened to be there and saw an AutoZam?
That Fiesta is just amazing.

I am passing through Ferndale every day. And we live very close.
Advan, Classic, have you guys been to any of our SE Mi beer nights? I suck at putting names and faces together, even more so when you add in the confusion of screen names. I'll have to set up another one. I'm in Beverly Hills and spend a lot of time down in Ferndale. While not rare, my C30 is somewhat noticeable.
Adrian, I went to the one at Celinas a while back, and i went to the one in Holly before that. I would love to do another. I'm in Royal Oak, and right by the interstate. Spend a good bit of time in Royal Oak, occasionally down in Ferndale.

I’ll buy but everything comes at a cost!
