Normally working a TC (Traffic Control point), that is what we call them up here. These are normally where roads or trails intersect the stage roads.

Time to Necropost! For those of you spectating, what are some good places to watch from? I have a friend from another forum who will be coming up to watch.
Also, if you spot a blue FC RX-7 or silver Mazdaspeed3, that will be me.
At a winter rally my friends and I take beer to a minor crossroad , bribe the volunteer worker with beer, walk to a safe area to watch a high speed kink that is nearby and have a great time. It is good to take our friend that has found religion and given up the sin of drink. We make him drive us to the next spot to watch. We have also discovered that if you plan on every 3rd or 4th stage you can see most of the cars on the stage you are watching.

From the inside of a turn. Trust me on this one.
Bring bug spray, water, food and dust masks (buy a box and then sell them for a buck each when everyone else gets jealous of you).
There are plenty of approved places to spectate at NEFR. Three super specials and other places where they are going to be announcing and stuff. Please do not try to get "better" places and !!!! NEVER !!!! walk down hot stage roads. This can cause real issues and stage delays and even cancellations.
I have spectated and volunteered here before and will be running at NEFR for the first time. Stop by car #689 at park expose' and say hi!
