What class (and site)? I mainly use second-hand gravel rally tires but with a V8 you may want some wider snow tires.

That is what the guys running Mustangs in pro-rally ran.
I don't know if they are still available but they used to be available in 15" sizes that would fit cars like Mustangs.

They work "okay" but the wear is brutal. I only bought that set for two events, the National Challenge and the Championship, and after the Challenge they are too worn to bother putting in the car to take to Tulsa.

I think I overheard a convo about a Mustang at Friday's meeting, so - spoiler alert....
It depends on the surface. We race on crushed coral down here in Fl, and my 300zx will totally eat a set of snow tires in one day, front and rear.
If you're in a rally tire class then rally tires, otherwise tiny AT truck tires. Snow tires will die a horrible death under a mustang.

It wont be ready this year, I have to do an engine swap and beef it up a bit.

I just remembered I have a somewhat worn set of Scorpions that were on the Lincoln, how are they rated.
They might be enough to get me on track for now
Any tires will work. I've seen it all and everyone has fun no matter what they have. Don't get hung up on tires, just run what you have at the highest pressure they'll take to prevent de-beading. Tires are something you worry about after the truck is already working.
