So I had my last 2 autocrosses this past weekend. The slicks made the car feel a lot better. It went from plowing straight to being able to be tossed hard into a corner and just stick. I could also hammer the gas and instead of spinning a wheel it would hook up and pull me through.
I was still slow but placed mid pack in pax and gained 3 seconds on ftd even with this course being 20ish seconds longer then my last autocross. Hopefully soon I'll have some pictures to post.
On the downside the car managed to blow the rear main seal yesterday. Since I start school next week I'm just taking the Miata back to college with me. It's a 96 with a torsen and a hard top so I'm hardly complaining. When I get free time I'l get the car fixed and back on the road.
