You weren't on your brakes during the drift, so it didn't know anything was wrong. The wheels are turning in a drift, just like they would be in a straight line. If you drifted, panicked and hit the brakes, the you might have got a nanny light. It needs to see the wheels have a differential in speed before it freaks out.
