Dang. That's pretty bad. You know they must wreck a lot. The Corner stations look like bunkers. Wasn't that in the Netherlands?

Is that the top of the famous hill at Spa?

The first 1:40 was Eau Rouge. The rest looked like Zandvoort; there aren't many tracks where spectators look on from grassy sand dunes.

In reply to oldsaw:

Yep. And I'd race them both given the opportunity. Mostly because they're both VERY historic tracks.

And because I'd never be fast enough to have the issues they are having.

If Gran Turismo is any realistic indication (it probably isn't), the problem with the uphill section at Spa is that its pretty technical and the hill goes on forever, so being down a couple mph in the lower part of the hill (where you were seeing a lot of the crashes in the video) ends up putting you down buslengths at the top of the hill. I'd love to do a track day there, but I would spring for insurance!

The good part is, if you can take your eyes off the course long enough to notice, as he accelerates towards every braking zone, he stomps the brake with his left foot to reset the calipers after cornering/bumps knocked the pistons in.

Am I the only one who got mad watching this video?

It just seems like too many people were driving waaaaaay beyond their skill level. Its one thing to over-drive a course you've never been on before, another thing completely to pull some of the crap that was going on in that video.

What an evil handling bitch. Makes me extremely glad I have an M3 instead of a 911...
