I don't want it, but damn that's a nice car!

I live in NJ and work in NYC so car can be viewed at home or work. This is an original RHD right hand drive 1986 BMW 320i 6 cylinder fuel injection with manual 5 speed transmission. The car is in it's original condition and we can guarantee the 48,000 miles are actual and correct. This car was legally imported from the United Kingdom where car owners must keep a log book that is presented every year during inspection. The previous owner of this BMW kept all the records, that proves the miles and maintenance. Car runs and drive like a 48,000 miles car, the paint is original and never been touched up. The body is very clean apart for a couple of small surface rust spots above the right rear wheel as seen in the pictures. We have the original factory paint to repair this small spot, upon buyer request, or will provide the paint. Car has a brand new muffler, new spark plugs and new battery. It passed US customs inspection, EPA inspection and has clean New York state title. It can be registered in any state. I have all the UK documents that certify the actual miles as 48,000 and provide notarized mileage statement with the bill of sale. Feel free to come take this car for a test drive. "private RHD collection" ... a kindred soul. Since buying my RHD Mini, I've wanted more RHD cars. Just something fun about driving them here.

I agree that's a nice car... but not sure I'd pay $9500 for it.

Love the bumpers, but I wouldn't drive a 4 door E30 if you paid me $9500. If it was 2 door IS with the sports seats, yes.

If it was a two door IS it would have been sold already.

BTW, the "log book" that the seller is talking about is most likely the "V5" form - which used to be called a log book in the UK - and that's nothing more than the equivalent to the title. Yes, that needs to be presented to the testing station every year but basically proves nothing but who the current keeper of the car is.

For mileage confirmation you want to see the MOT certificates dating back from when the car was three years old to when it was exported as those can confirm the mileage.

You'll need to log in to post.
