UPDATE: I have purchased a "right now" truck- 84 Toyota 2wd Extended Cab, 22re, 5 speed. It is so similar to my Celica that I need to remind myself in parking lots that it has an extra foot or so of turning radius. Forever truck can wait until I have enough $$$ to throw at it, I just wasn't seeing what I wanted in my price range.

My 4-Runnner and the little Dihatsu parking lot truck at work had the same dash board. If it doesn't get eaten by metal mice, it should last forever!

FWIW, a raised roof conversion van will easily carry a dirt bike. I did it with mine a few times. The down side is passenger hauling. Typical conversion vans don't easily convert from passenger to cargo duty. Plus, if you want to carry dirt bikes along with 4 people, then you'll need an extended version like Petrolburner has.

I was going to say - "now truck" and then "forever truck" later when you can increase the budget.
